DOJ PS4 ROLE-PLAY COMMUNITY

What happens when my character dies?
At the end of the day, it is your decision if you like to permanently kill your character. But I suggest you to decide appropriately to the scenario you're in. For example, you don’t need to kill your character off for a quick scenario in which your player died in game. But let's say there was this plotted assassination attempt and it transpired over a few days than maybe you should consider Perma Death. You will lose 95% of your owned items if you do choose to kill your character. You can assign a next of kin and have some items be transferred over but it has to be through the court. For more specific rules about Perma Death and what transfers please read #rules.
Is there going to be RP today? Is there going to be a session today?
Staff/Admin members are the only players who can Host sessions. With that being said, they will host sessions whenever they can but we usually host later in the day, once a day. Do not ask if there will be a session. Staff Members have their own busy lives and will host when they can. Just pay attention to #announcements, whenever a Staff Member is planning on hosting a session, they will post in that chat asking for players to post in #roll-call. This is basically to “sign-up” for the session. If you post your PSN in #roll-call than you are expected on showing up. If you don’t you will be warned.
How do I clock in and out?
Most jobs will be following hourly wages, which in that instance you will clock in and out with the Google Form that is located in #clock in-clock out chat. To use this form, you will put your character’s name, occupation and than the time you started and ended working. I suggest either entering this at the end of your shift, if you can remember when you clocked in OR open the form in a new tab on your internet browser clock in but DO NOT submit. When you end your shift, go back to that tab and enter the time you ended and than submit.
For Post OP, there is a Google Form in the #post-op-delivery chat. This chat is to log the routes that you complete. You are required to do this form or else you will not get paid.
For other jobs like Tow, Weazel News, etc you will be paid by the job that you do. More specific instructions will be in the job description chat that you will gain access to once you apply for a job in #apply-for-job.
At the end of the day, if you do not clock in or out or log your hours. You will not get paid. Also if you lie about the time we will find out and you will not get paid. We do pay unemployment so, if you do not have a job, you can still clock in and out as unemployed and will receive some money.
We plan on doing payroll every or every other Friday. Just depends on how many sessions we had in the week.
